Accident occurred October 16, 2022 in Perry Township, Montgomery County, Ohio





PERRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — One person is in the hospital after an, “ultralight plane’ crash in Perry Township Sunday morning, according to Perry Township Police.

Crews responded to 600 North Preble County Line Road after 9:30 a.m.

Several departments responded including the Englewood fire crews and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Only one person was in the ultralight aircraft at the time of the crash and suffered non-life threatening injuries, a spokesperson told News Center 7.

That person is at Miami Valley Hospital.

Video from the scene show the plane was in a cornfield.

It is unknown at this time what the caused the crash, Perry Township Police said.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
