Former IBM and Chase corporate jet according to the serial number reg history. That's some expensive aluminum to be doing this as a professional two-crew team in broad daylight at a major airport. You don't get up front of a G550 with a well-into six figure career getting away with things like lack of attention. Either it was a serious mechanical failure with brakes or it was two sets of eyes not paying attention up front (my money is on the latter). What could they have gotten distracted with.
ReplyDeleteThe taxiway they were instructed to use, was not big enough to handle this airplane.
