  1. Fun facts about KBFM (known better as Brookley Field a former WII USAAF base):

    -Filming location for Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and the warehouse truck loading and Devil's Tower runway scenes in an old hanger. (Roy & Ronnie Neary's home scenes were filmed in a Mobile subdivision just a few miles away).

    -Where all plane crash Continental engines get sent for analysis (always referenced here at KR when one is involved).

    -Final assembly for US-built Airbus A320s are made as well as the new assembly plant location for Airbus's new A220.

    -Maintenance depot for Delta, American, United, and FedEx fleets.
