SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A hard-landing for a small plane at the Santa Barbara airport Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called out to runway 15L around noon.

The single-engine plane's nose gear collapsed, leaving debris on the runway.

Five people were on board including the pilot.

Fortunately everyone escaped with no injuries.

The runway was closed down for a short time but did not affect any other flights.
