Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called late Monday morning to the Carson City Airport for an incident involving an airplane that went off the runway and into a ditch.

The incident happened at around 11:40 a.m. near the west runway. Occupants inside the plane did not suffer injuries. Arriving Carson City Fire Department personnel reports there was no fluid leaking and no fire as a result of the incident.

It is unknown at this time if the plane was taking off, landing or taxiing on the runway at the time of the incident. The FAA was to be notified of the incident.
