  1. According to Flying Magazine email, a student pilot who was not signed off for solo and with only two hours of instruction, managed to snag the keys and take off without permission. After several attempts to land, each causing more damage to the airplane, the pilot finally got it on the ground with significant damage, but without any injuries to himself or others. According to the email, the plane's owner has filed charges of aircraft theft.
