Frontier Airlines to outline new Charleston flights Tuesday

A Denver-based air carrier will outline its new Lowcountry service during a press conference at Charleston International Airport Tuesday.

Frontier Airlines is expected to announce it will launch flights between Denver, Charleston and Philadelphia three days a week in the spring.

The low-cost carrier announced in July it planned to expand into 21 new cities, including Charleston.

Southwest Airlines recently confirmed it will resume seasonal flights between the Holy City and the Mile High City April 8.
