STRATFORD — A plane experiencing engine problems landed safely at Sikorsky Memorial Airport Sunday afternoon, airport officials said.
The airport was alerted just before 2 p.m. that a plane was approaching with engine problems, according to dispatch reports.
There were two people on board the plane.
An airport official said the plane landed safely and said the mechanical problem may have been a lost engine cylinder.
