Beechcraft A36TC Bonanza: Fatal accident occurred December 13, 2015 in Stavropol area, Russia

Investigators opened a criminal investigation into the crash of a light plane in the Stavropol region, killing four people, told RIA the representative of the Mineralovodsky investigatory Department on transport of the RF IC.

Proceedings were instituted under article of the criminal code of safety rules of movement and operation of air transport, entailed on imprudence death of two or more persons.» The interlocutor of the Agency said that the flight was not authorized.

The plane fell Sunday near the village of Suvorovskaya foothill area in the fall, he lit up. All four victims were residents of Orenburg.

The identity of the dead were established, their bodies are in the morgue in Essentuki.

The head of the local investigative Department Alexey Musaev noted that the Beechcraft A36TC Bonanza plane was badly damaged — more or less all turned out to be only part of the tail. 

As the major versions are two: it could be pilot error or technical fault of the aircraft. A source in emergency services of the region noted that the cause of the crash could be icing up caused by high humidity and low temperature.

The Prosecutor’s office organized the check of the legislation on safety of flights, said the representative of southern transport Prosecutor Agnes Savchenko.

Сегодня, 13.12.2015, около 11 часов 40 минут примерно в 7 км.  от станицы Суворовской Предгорного района Ставропольского края потерпел крушение с последующим возгоранием легкомоторный самолет «Beechcraft Bonanza» А36ТС.

В результате авиационного происшествия пилот и трое пассажиров – жители Оренбургской области погибли от полученных телесных повреждений.

На место происшествия выехали и.о. Минераловодского межрайонного транспортного прокурора, сотрудники правоохранительных органов, следственно - оперативная группа.

В целях установления обстоятельств произошедшего правоохранительными органами проводится проверка в порядке стст. 144-145 УПК РФ, ход и результаты которой взяты прокуратурой на контроль .

Кроме того, по данному факту транспортной прокуратурой организовано проведение проверки исполнения законодательства о безопасности полетов.

The aircraft that crashed today in Stavropol Territory took off on its last flight without the required permit.

As previously reported by Vestnik Kavakaza, as a result of the crash, which occurred in the village of Suvorov in the foothills region of Stavropol Territory, four people were killed.


A Beechcraft A36TC Bonanza aircraft crashed in the Stavropol area on Sunday, December 13, 2015.

Four people were reportedly killed in the crash after the plane came down in the village of Suvorov at 11:45 (08.45 GMT).

The crash site was cordoned off by local emergency services as investigations got underway to establish the cause.

According to reports, the flight of the aircraft was not registered.

The names of the deceased were identified, but have not been released at the time of writing.
