Delta flight from Seattle to Paris lands in Billings, Montana, after electrical odor reported

Boeing 767 makes emergency landing in Billings

UPDATE 7:53 p.m.

The Delta plane that made an emergency landing in Billings was enroute from Seattle to Paris.

An electrical odor was smelled by occupants, said Airport Operation Supervisor Shane Ketterling.

As a precaution, pilots made an emergency on Monday evening.

A Delta mechanic is looking at the plane right now, determining if the plane will continue or if passengers will deboard and wait for another plane.

The manifest shows 203 passengers and a 10 person crew.

BILLINGS - A Boeing 767 made an emergency landing in Billings Monday night reporting of gas fumes in the cockpit.

The plane was a Delta commercial airliner.

The call came in shortly after 6 p.m.

Few details are known at this time.
