Cessna A185F, N5403E: Aircraft force landed on a pond, 5 miles from Port Angeles, Washington

A float plane makes an emergency landing on a small farm pond in Indian Valley west of Port Angeles. 

The pilot and passenger escaped unharmed with minimal damage to the aircraft. 

The pilot said engine failure prompted the decision to set down on the pond.
