Missing pilot found dead near Wentworth in New South Wales

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority has found the body of 79-year-old Ron Woulfe, who went missing after a flight near Mildura, in north-west Victoria.

Mr Woulfe is thought to have flown out of an airfield at Wentworth, in south-west New South Wales, on Monday morning.

The aircraft was found by a search helicopter 10 kilometres west of Wentworth airfield about 5:30pm on Wednesday.

New South Wales Police are on their way to the scene to conduct an investigation.
