DENVER -- Aspen tourism officials are scrambling to ensure service after Frontier Airlines begins discontinuing flights on Monday.
The Denver-based carrier told Aspen officials this winter that it no longer makes enough money on the route.
According to the Denver Post (http://bit.ly/HFlNHy ), Aspen tourism officials are confident they can secure other carriers to make up for the two daily Frontier flights to Denver that is reducing passenger loads by more than 15 percent.
