One Dead and One in Critical Condition From Plane Crash in Audrain County, Missouri

In Audrain County the Highway Patrol and the FAA are investigating a fatal plane crash.

The call came in just before one o'clock Sunday afternoon that a plane crashed just after take-off in the 16,000 block of County Road 953.

The single engine Piper Cherokee apparently clipped some trees after take-off causing the crash.

David Dickherber, was killed in the crash.

His wife, Mary was taken to University Hospital and is in critical condition.

AUDRAIN COUNTY - One man died and his wife remains in critical condition after their plane crashed on County Road 953 in Audrain County.

David Dickherber died from the crash and Mary Dickherber is still at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

The single-engine fixed-wing plane took off from a grass runway and clipped trees. The plane came right back down and crashed.

The FAA has been contacted and is making its way to the scene.
