The Army will retire the last 3 UH1's from Ft Irwin on Dec15. The retirement ceremony will be on Tuesday, Dec 13, 0945 at Barstow Daggett Airport USA maintenance hangar. Guest speaker will be CW5 John Harris, 42 years service, Vietnam vet and still a current UH1 IP. After the ceremony there will be refreshments and a UH1 formation of 3 flyby.
The Barstow Daggett airport is located about 12 miles east of Barstow off I40.
Working on a meeting place after the ceremony for lunch and a cool one.
