PLANE TRANSPORT NEEDED: Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge searching for plane transport for masked booby

The Masked Booby

The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge posted the following call to action on their Facebook page

PLANE TRANSPORT NEEDED: Our Masked Booby that Tropical Storm Lee brought in back in September has completed his rehabilitation and is ready to be released. Problem is, this pelagic species is native to the Carribean and has missed his natural migration window by both time and space (these birds do not normally migrate to Florida). If anyone has the means to provide aerial transport, please contact the refuge at (850)650-1880 on Monday to speak with either our Director, Amanda Wilkerson, or our Animal Care Supervisor, Stephanie Kadletz.
