Rochester, New York: Volunteers sought to help with Aviation Club

The city of Rochester’s Bureau of Youth Services is seeking partners for an Aviation Club offered through its Rochester After-School Academy.

The club, which is based at two city schools and run in conjunction with area agencies that work with youths, allows students to see how they can apply math and science through training offered by the Rochester Air Center Flight Training School.

Volunteers are needed to help work on securing grants. For details, call Kate Oakley Schillaci, academy program manager, at (585) 288-3130, ext. 1166, or email koakley@centerforyouth.net.
