Funerals set for men killed in plane crash. PA-38 Tomahawk, N2584N. Butte, Montana.

BUTTE - Funeral services are set for two local men who died in a plane crash west of Butte Monday morning.

Services for Justin Robbe, 19, will be held Saturday, August 20, at 11 a.m. at the LaQuinta Inn below Denny's restaurant. The service is open to the public.

The Robbe family is asking that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Justin W. Robbe Memorial Scholarship Fund at Wells Fargo bank in Butte.

Robbe was a student pilot and a sophomore studying mechanical engineering at Montana State University as an honors student. He was named valedictorian in 2010 at Butte High School.

Funeral services for Richard Johnson will be held Friday, August 19, at St. Ann's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. The service is also open to the public.

Johnson was an associate professor in general engineering at Montana Tech and a partner in J-J Aviation.
