  1. Fuselage is reported to have some prop tip punctures. Pilot's decision to power up and go around will draw some attention.

  2. ooh, that chattery sound of prop blades chewing into pavement...

  3. Should read “all six propeller tips” struck the runway (two three-bladed propellers).

  4. He went around? After the propeller tips hit the runway? He was successful, but if one of those propellers disintegrated in the air, the outcome could have been much worse. Apparently no passengers.

  5. “Yea, not sure how that broke”

  6. Back in the 80s I had one of my charter pilots do this in a Navajo. Got all six prop blades and ground the bottom comm antennae down to a nub but didn't touch the fuselage skin. No passengers thank goodness!

    1. A fresh coat of paint on the prop, and you’re good to go!

  7. "Gear was not down during landing." It wasn't a landing, but a low-level fly over to check the runway condition.
