  1. Looks like the second time this P-51 Mustang has been in a taxi accident. In 1971, it collided with another aircraft during taxi at Chino, CA.

    3. Why not mount a remote camera on front cowl, and led viewer inside with proximity warning sounds as you get closer to things ahead of you. Seems like a no brainer for 3 or 4 million dollar aircraft...

  5. I have some time in 51's. Looking forward they are completely blind. All you can see is the top of that long nose and the stacks. You have to S turn and then hope nobody pulls out a head of you. I never did run into anything but I always had that feeling that I was about to.
