  1. Aircraft arrived at ATL an hour and 50 minutes late from the scheduled flight. Looks like they just got some mechanics to inspect the engine at a maintenance area there with the passengers and crew still on board throughout the entire process. Good decision but I'd be curious to know if a small bird actually went through and any passengers behind the wing saw any flames out of the exhaust on the takeoff attempt.

    1. If the bird only passed through the perimeter/bypass portion of the fan disc and did not pass thru the compressor, inspection is simplified. No way they would be back flying quickly if a bird of significant size passed through the compressor stages.
