  1. WOW!!! Just when you have reached an age where you have seen and heard all the stupid possible...

    1. That's why I keep reading KR after 10 years. There will inevitably be another moron making us shake our heads. Always. The possibilities of stupidity and aviation are endless.

  2. CFI said no pre-flight, just get in and go? Someone needs to yank his cert. Entirely unacceptable.

  3. Both of these written statements are completely fabricated lies. The owner of the aircraft didn’t have insurance on his airplane and created a story to screw over the CFI because he was going to be ah a complete loss. The student is also creating a fairy tale story as they both tried to sue the CFI and lost. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet folks.

    1. Even if you remove the testimony from the owner and the student, the CFI overloaded the airplane and caused a crash by choosing to ignore W&B limitations. This alone is inexcusable coming from any aviator, and borderline criminal coming from a CFI.
