  1. The phone call to the insurance company probably wasn't one they expected for a skydive plane. Damage to the parked Osprey is a Class A incident (exceeds 2 Million).

    Per Military.com article: "The pilot of the civilian plane lost control of the aircraft, traveling across the runway and eventually impacting the Osprey."

  2. The military uses civilian airports all the time for cross country training and aircraft repositioning. I'll bet the Marines are re-thinking where they park their assets at this airport - if they ever decide to use it again.
