A Piper PA-31P-350 Mojave rolled off the runway on the morning of February 19th at the Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport.

Officials at  Aviation Technologies, which manages private plane traffic at the airport says a company pilot practicing flying landed the plane off the runway.

Airport officials say the pilot and another pilot onboard the plane suspected brake problems and landed less than 20 feet into the grass off the airport’s shorter runway to stop more quickly.

Neither pilot was injured and it appears the plane was not damaged.

The incident has been reported to the Federal Aviation Administration.
