On May 5, 2019, about 0820 Pacific daylight time, a Beech P35 airplane, N1510S, sustained substantial damage during a gear up landing at Minden-Tahoe Airport (MEV), Minden, Nevada. The private pilot was not injured. The airplane was registered to and operated by the pilot, under the provisions of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91, as a personal flight. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the airport, about the time of the accident, and no flight plan was filed for the local flight that originated at an unknown time.

According to the pilot, the approach was uneventful, and he selected the landing gear lever to the down position. He stated that he checked that the gear lever was down several times during the approach. However, after the landing, the airplane's landing gear was only partially extended.

According to a Federal Aviation Administration inspector, the airplane sustained substantial damage to its underside structure. The airplane was recovered to a secure location for further examination.
