A plane went off the runway at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport Wednesday afternoon.

Officials said it was a small private plane.

The director told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 the plane made a hard right during the landing causing it to go off the runway.

It's not clear if this was operator error or if it had anything to do with weather conditions.

There were no injuries and the plane was removed from the runway.

The director for the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport said no one appeared to be injured after a plane left the runway Wednesday afternoon at the Unity airfield.

Gabe Monzo, director of the county airport authority, said two people were aboard the private plane, which skidded off the runway during landing.

“The runway is cleared and the airport is back in regular operation,” Monzo said.

The incident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m.
