FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A small plane made a belly landing at the Treasure Coast International Airport.

It happened around 10:15 a.m.

According to the St. Lucie County Fire District, the airport received a call about an plane on approach with trouble deploying its landing gear.

The pilot brought the plane down safely.

One person was on board. No one was hurt.

Crews sprayed the scene with foam as a precaution due to a fuel leak.
