A single-engine plane landed without its gear fully extended near Arlington Municipal Airport, according to the FAA's Pacific Division.

KIRO 7 Chopper video shows the plane in a grassy area next to a house.

The pilot, who was the only person on board, was not injured. FAA officials call the incident a “gear-up landing,” which usually refers to an incident where a mechanical problem keeps the pilot from extending the landing gear.

The hard landing comes after four people were killed in a small plane crash near the Hood Canal on Friday morning
