Airbus to fly over Bryant-Denny Stadium before Iron Bowl kickoff

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -   Don’t be alarmed if you see a massive plane flying low over Tuscaloosa on Saturday—the Airbus A321 will fly over Bryant-Denny Stadium before the Iron Bowl kicks off!

The flyover is scheduled to happen at 2:16 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, about 23 minutes before kickoff.

The plane will be flying at a lower altitude than normal, so university officials want the public to be aware so they’re not worried when they see it.

The plane is the first A321 that is being produced for Delta Airlines in a facility in Mobile. It will be the 15th Airbus to be delivered from the facility, which opened in September 2015, according to University of Alabama officials.

More than 370 employees work at the Airbus facility in Mobile.
