Cristiano Ronaldo’s plane was involved in a crash landing at El Prat airport in Barcelona on Monday, informs as.com. Fortunately, there were no injuries, writes the cited source, stating that the accident occurred while CR7 was in Germany for Real Madrid’s Champions League match with Borussia Dortmund.
The Gulfstream G200 aircraft experienced problems when touching down at El Prat after one element of the landing gear malfunctioned as the plane was on the final approach. In the end, the aircraft came safely to the ground, although it overshot the runway.
Neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor any of his family members were on board of the airplane at the time of the accident. It is reported that CR7 acquired the jet at the end of 2015 for a price of 20 million euros.
