    To clarify a bit about the incident from this FAA preliminary which makes it sound worse than it is. . . The aircraft touched down at a 30 degree angle to mid-field Runway 27 at Lansing Municipal Airport (KIGQ). The gear was down and locked and touched down soft on firm, even ground on the airport property. This was the result of a spiral down through a 600 foot overcast after in-flight engine failure. The only airframe damage was light dents to the LH Outboard leading edge due to vegetation strikes.

    The aircraft is being repaired.
