WATERLOO (KWWL) - Waterloo Regional Airport Maintenance says a small general aviation plane was practice flying early Sunday morning over Waterloo, raising questions and concern for neighbors who heard a loud noise overnight.
People living in Waterloo say they were kept awake for a few hours during the plane's "touch and go" practice, and didn't understand why a pilot would be practicing during the middle of the night.
Airport Maintenance says the plane eventually landed at the airport around 1:40 a.m., and the control tower at the airport was closed at the time.
