NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a small airplane crash at John C. Tune Airport in west Nashville. According to an official with the FAA, the plane made a hard landing on Runway 20 before overturning around 8:30 a.m. Friday. The pilot, whose name has not been released, was the only one on board. No injuries have been reported. Police have not yet released the name of the pilot or why he was flying into Tune Airport. Crews are working to turn the airplane over so it can be removed. The FAA is continuing to investigate the crash.
