Student pilot crashes into Belen plane hangar
BELEN, N.M. —A student pilot crashed a plane into a hangar in Belen Sunday.
Around 1:30 p.m., the student pilot was on the radio with his flight instructor trying to talk his way through a landing.
The student pilot wasn’t coming in right, and his flight instructor told him to pull up and try again. While trying to do that, the plane hit the hangar.
Luckily, the 45-year-old student pilot only suffered minor injuries.
