Huntingburg Airport, (KHNB), Indiana: Airport Board Grapples with Full T-Hangars

The new T-hangars for the Huntingburg Airport are all rented out, and they haven’t even been built yet.

That’s the message from Airport Manager Travis McQueen.

He reported to the airport board last night of the positive news:

McQueen says the board is looking for a way to modify the plans so that the new T-hangar can hold 12 to 14 planes, instead of the original plans.

He also said that they will not ask for any more money from the County to fund the project, but that they will work with the money that was allocated.

The new T-hangar facility will be built on the property just south and west of the existing public terminal.
