Uttar Pradesh Civil Aviation Directorate hiring pilots, chief engineer

The Uttar Pradesh government's Civil Aviation Directorate has invited eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for recruitment to the posts of Pilot (Fixed Wing), Pilot (Rotor Wing) and Chief Engineer. The interview will be conducted on May 21-22, 2014.

Vacancy details:

Pilot (Fixed Wing): 03 posts
Salary: Rs 1,50,000/- to Rs 2,50,000/-

Pilot (Rotor Wing): 02 posts
Salary: Rs 1,50,000/- to Rs 2,50,000/-

Chief Engineer: 01 post
Salary: Rs 1,25,000/- to Rs 2,00,000/-

Total posts: 06

Age limit:
The candidate should have attained 21 years of age and should not be more than 50 years on July 1, 2013. Five-year age relaxation for reserved category candidates is applicable on the upper age limit.

Eligibility details:

Pilot (Fixed Wing):

The candidate should possess current Airlines Transport Pilot Licence with Flight Instructor rating and endorsement of twin engine. The candidate should have instrument rating of twin engine.

Required flying experience:
Total flying: 3,000 hours
Flying as Pilot-in-Command: 2,000 hours
Night flying: 500 hours

Pilot (Rotor Wing):
The candidate should possess current Airlines Transport Pilot Licence (H) or Commercial Helicopter Pilot License, Flight Radio Telepohone Operator and Radio Telephony (Restricted Aeromobile).

Required flying experience:
Total flying: 2,000 hours
Flying as Pilot-in-Command: 1,000 hours
Night flying: 50 hours

Chief Engineer:
The candidate should have Director General of Civil Aviation's (DGCA's), which comes under Government of India, current Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License in categories A, B, C, X or A, C, D, X with at least two categories open covering all single engine airplane up to 5,700 kg. A.U.W and 850 horse power.

The candidate should have minimum 15-year aviation experience.

Walk-in-interview details:

The candidates will have to report for the interview at 12:00 noon in the office of The Director, Civil Aviation, U.P., Lucknow Airport, Lucknow.
