Future up in the air for old cargo plane: Owners hope to see C-47 fly again

Pilots Harry Barrett (left) and Bob Partyka bought this WWII era C-47 aircraft in 2003 from a mechanical aviation school in Texarkana and brought it to the North Little Rock Airport.



Depending on whom you ask, the aging cargo plane parked on the ramp at the North Little Rock Municipal Airport for more than a half-dozen years is either a dangerous eyesore or a flying legend.
