When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. The museum stays open until 5 p.m.

What: Celebrate the holidays with a day of
events for families at the famed museum. There will be a chance to meet
with Santa and Mrs. Claus. In addition, there will be holiday music
performed by the Boeing Concert Orchestra and the Boeing Band.
Meet the Clauses: For those who want to meet
the jolly man in the red suit, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by
airplane at 10 a.m. They will be on hand until 2 p.m. to meet children.
Wright Spirit: Family workshops will be held at 11 a.m. and 1
p.m. to celebrate two of the most famous brothers in the history of
aviation: Wilbur and Orville Wright – inventors of the airplane. Learn
how they solved the problem of controllable flight on Dec. 17, 1903;
then make a model of one of their aircraft designs.
Check out trainer: Visitors also can check out the new exhibit
the features the full fuselage space shuttle trainer. The exhibit
opened last month in the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery. Visitors can
walk through the payload bay, or pay for a tour that takes them inside
the crew space and flight deck.
Cost: Holiday events are free with museum
admission: adults $17, seniors (65 and older) and active military $14;
children ages 5-17 $9; children 4 and younger free. Trainer tours are
$25 for adult members and $20 for child (10 and older) members, and $30
for adults and $25 for children (10 and older).
