Investigators determined the pilot was carrying fake Mexican ID, two
US licenses with same number but different names. They found he was
actually a Iranian citizen wanted in Germany as part of a major fraud
investigation.
The 2nd person on board, from Poland, was deemed a passenger and is
not facing any charges. Pilot is being extradited to Germany, both
persons were seriously injured.
Pilot did not hold any licenses
to be legally operating a German registered aircraft, nor could it be
determined what his actual flying background was???
