MATT ROGERS: In 1946, Bill Brooks began taking people on flights over Lake Coeur d'Alene. On Thursday morning Bill's son Grant helped KHQ's Matt Rogers in a Spokane television first. With the technology of the Q6 Mobile Backpack, the two took a flight over the lake on live television. Bill owns and operates Brooks Seaplane in Coeur d'Alene, and you can find him right on the dock at Independence Point. Bill took Matt up in a Cessna 206 and the view is amazing!
