Aviation repair company brings jobs to Sioux City, Iowa

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

At least 15 new jobs are coming to Sioux City.

A new FAA certified maintenance repair operation will initially create between 15 and 34 jobs, with the potential to add up to fifty. The city says these are highly-skilled positions, created by a new company, Aviation Consultant Expert Solutions or "ACES."

The company supports aircraft maintenance, flight operations and safety management for US, Caribbean, Mexican and African airline operators. ACES wants to lease hangar space at Sioux Gateway. Sioux City's city council will discuss the agreement next Monday.
