Sullivan County International Airport (KMSV) gets $1 million to build firehouse. Monticello, New York

BETHEL – Sullivan County International Airport in Bethel is slated to receive a $1 million grant from the US Department of Transportation to build a firehouse for its firefighting equipment. The money comes from the Airport Improvement Program through the FAA. The county had applied for the grant several months ago.

“These federal funds will help upgrade the airport’s safety and preparedness, and provide better service for travelers,” said US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who along with Senator Charles Schumer announced the grant.
