On February 14, 2022, about 1840 central standard time, a Piper PA-22-150, N7337D, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Furlow, Arkansas. The pilot was seriously injured. The airplane was operated a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations

personal flight.

The pilot informed first responders that an in-flight loss of engine power resulted in a forced landing. The airplane impacted trees during the landing and was substantially damaged. The airframe sustained damage to the forward fuselage, the engine mount, and both wings.

A post-recovery engine examination is planned.
