  1. The PW600 fan is 16" in diameter and that of a typical in-flight goose's body is about 10" for a 62.5% fan blade face impact coverage. This incident would be the equivalent of a 777 GE90 engine with a 10' fan blade taking in a 6' body diameter goose if they existed!
