UPDATE: State police confirm the plane landed safely and there were no reports of injuries.
State police were dispatched to Double Eagle Airport around noon after a report of a plane circling the airport and possibly attempting an emergency landing.
It is unclear how many occupants are in the plane but officials are on scene.
