On August 27, 2019, at 0310 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 560 XL airplane, VT-AVV, collided with an electrical cable during the landing at the Aligarh Airport, Aligarh, India. The airplane was destroyed during the post crash fire. The airplane was operated under the pertinent civil regulations of the Government of India.

A private aircraft crashed on Tuesday at the Ghanipur air strip in Uttar Pradesh.

The pilot and six others escaped with minor injuries.

A relief and rescue team has reached the crash site. 

Sources said that the aircraft was flying in from Delhi to Aligarh.

It crashed during landing when it apparently touched a high tension line. 

An inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

Senior officials at crash site refused to comment.
