MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) - A private plane made an emergency landing at Mobile Regional Airport Wednesday afternoon.
"Clear Wing 83", a Gulfstream G200 jet, landed safely at 2:30 p.m. after declaring an emergency, according to Federal Aviation Administration officials.
The flight was headed to Palm Beach, Florida from Houston, Texas when it declared the emergency at 1:44 pm while off the Louisiana Coast over the Gulf of Mexico.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the reason for the emergency landing.
