Shotgun found lying next to car in Chicago O'Hare International Airport (KORD) parking garage

An apparently brand-new, unloaded shotgun was found underneath a car in the main parking garage at O'Hare International Airport early Saturday afternoon, police said.

The shotgun was found under a car on the third level of the parking garage just before 12:05 p.m., said Officer Candace Calace, a police spokeswoman, in an email.

The shotgun appeared to be brand-new and was unloaded, according to police.

No one was in custody.

Video from the scene shows the gun, lying on the concrete floor of the parking garage, partly underneath a silver sedan in a parking space near the outer barrier of the garage.

At one point, a people mover can be seen moving in the distance.

At least two Chicago police vehicles are shown at the scene, and two security guards or officers can be seen speaking to an officer in one of the vehicles.
