Southern Airways Express plans an open house at South Arkansas Regional Airport.
An open house and ribbon cutting for Southern Airways Express will be held at South Arkansas Regional Airport from 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 24.
The ribbon cutting will be at 5:30 p.m.
Southern Airways Express succeeded SeaPort Airlines as the subsidized passenger airline service provider to the El Dorado airport. It flies three times daily between El Dorado and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, and has one flight on Saturdays and Sundays.
The airline flies single-engine Cessna Caravan aircraft.
