TAMPA, FL (WFLA) – A small airplane was seen at Peter O. Knight airport on Davis Islands Saturday morning after smashing into a fence.
The plane can be seen near a fence on photos sent to us by several witnesses and our photojournalist.
One of the witnesses told us, the airplane went off the runway and ran into the fence on the south side of the airport.
The damage to the aircraft was minimal.
The pilot was reportedly not hurt.
